    Story Synopsis:
    If you liked Pulp Fiction, The Good Girl, Swingers, Memento, and, ahem, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you most likely won't like My Big Fat Independent Movie, a sad spoof of independent films with elements of mainstream films thrown in for good measure. Join identically-clad hitmen Harvey (Hoffman) and Sam (Barton) as they head to Las Vegas--picking up a couple passengers along the way and meeting several other colorful characters--to botch another job. The DVD box claims to have borrowed from 30 different indie films, so count 'em and note 'em and let us know. (Jack Kelley)

    DVD Picture:
    Anamorphically enhanced at 1.78:1, the DVD picture exhibits nice quality. The black-and-white scenes exhibit good contrast and a gray scale with deep blacks and bright whites. Color saturation is generally satisfying. While sharpness is adequate, some scenes appear a bit soft or plugged up, lacking fine details and textures. Pixelization is occasional, but there is no bothersome edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
