Story Synopsis:
"Duane Hopwood" (Schwimmer) works the night shift at Caesars, loves his ex-wife (Garofalo) and two daughters, and drinks too much. After getting pulled over, drunk, with his daughter in the back seat Duane's life starts going downhill fast. He loses his license and has to ride his bicycle to work. Just when he thinks that things can't get much worse, he's fired from his job and loses his visitation rights with his kids. At the end of the line, Duane finally realizes that he's hit rock bottom and considers that maybe it's time to give up the only constant in his life
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture has a dim, drab quality, with a low contrast look. There are some creative sequences with a completely washed out color scheme that is a unique complement for the storytelling. Pixelization and edge enhancement are not much of a problem with this DVD. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The Dolby
