The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits nice color saturation with well-balanced fleshtones, vibrant hues, and deep blacks. Sharpness is adequate, although some smearing is evident. The source element is revealing of some film grain and flecks of dirt, none of which are terribly obtrusive, but contribute to the dated look of the picture.
