  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Paramutual Pictures Inc. is a Hollywood motion-picture maker that is constantly losing money. Needing an unknown to do some spying on where the financial leak or excess spending is coming from, Morty Tashman (Lewis) is hired as "The Errand Boy." But with Morty on board the disruptions are endless, and the studio heads can't help but wonder what kind of idiot they have hired. (Tricia Spears)

DVD Picture:
The black-and-white anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits a satisfying gray scale, with deep blacks, bright whites, and satisfying luminance between the two extremes. Sharpness is adequate, though some smearing is noticed and finer details are limited. The source element is revealing of mostly minor flecks of dirt and some major artifacts, but the picture is enjoyable enough to not be distracted from the antics of the storytelling.
