  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
After a night of partying, Liz (Magrath), Kristy (Morassi), and Ben (Phillips), three attractive and fun-loving twenty-something year-olds, leave Broome, Australia, heading for Wolf Creek Meteorite Crater Reservation. Upon arrival and ensuing hike, they return to their car only to find their battery dead. Luckily (or unluckily, as fate may have it), they are rescued by local Mick (Jarratt), who not only can fix their car but give them a place to stay. It's after an evening of storytelling by the campfire that their story of horro begins. Based on actual events. (Jack Kelley)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture delivers a gritty image that is nicely detailed and textured. Colors are often richly saturated and well balanced, with good delineation. Contrast and shadow delineation are also nicely balanced, and just enough visual information is available in the darkest scenes. Some pixelization is noticed at times, but bit rate is quite high on average, and the picture is mostly clean. The shaky handheld camerawork just might make sensitive viewers violently ill, especially on larger home theatre displays...but maybe that
