Subscribe FreeWhile passengers onboard the "Poseidon" were busy toasting in the New Year, a humongous rogue wave was on its way to join in on the festivities. After the giant swell crashed its way into the ship, as in 1972's The Poseidon Adventure (both of which are based on the novel by Paul Gallico), death and destruction was everywhere, as the victims scrambled to find their way to safety through the inverted ship.
