Story Synopsis:
This fishy little tale involves two teenage girls, Claire (Roberts) and Hailey (Levesque), and what they find swimming in the pool after a terrible storm. The beautiful Aquamarine (Paxton) may be a mermaid while underwater but when she puts her sea legs on shore, she casts her line and catches the heart of the cute lifeguard Raymond (McDorman). DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.82:1 DVD picture is exactly what any pre-teen girl would want: bright colors (especially of the aquamarine shade), natural fleshtones, flowing golden hair, and solid blacks. Images are generally sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures, although some smearing is evident. Pixelization is also noticed at times. (Suzanne Hodges)
