Story Synopsis:
Three interconnected lives that almost connect: Elizabeth (Harper), a small-town preacher's wife who spends her time worrying about the business of others, while secretly missing her runaway son; and Grace (Hunt), now living back home with her mother, seeks to find the son she gave up for adoption so many years ago; and Mark (Pardue), a young man searching for himself as he attempts to save the Loggerheads on the North Caroline coast. A somber and moving film. (Jack Kelley)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits generally sharp images, although some smearing is evident. Colors are vivid in saturation, but are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. At times, hues can err a bit green. Minor pixelization is noticed, but there is no bothersome edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
