DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits a warm, nicely saturated color palette with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. Images are sharp and nicely detailed, although slightly soft at times. Some of the darker scenes can seem a bit murky. Overall, the picture has a quality that can be described as easy-on-the-eyes. Distractions, like pixelization and edge enhancement, are rare. Quite delightful, indeed. (Suzanne Hodges)
