Story Synopsis:
After finding a portal to Mars, a group of futuristic archaeologists are trying to find out why it was built and what happened to the civilization who built it. DVD Picture:
Viewing in a completely blackened room is highly recommended for this title, as the picture can be very dark in some scenes. Still, the 2.35:1 anamorphically enhanced imagery is nicely rendered, with adequate visual information in the darker scenes. At times, the picture can appear a bit soft, but otherwise sharpness and details are nicely rendered. Colors are rich, if slightly oversaturated, with ruddy fleshtones. Blacks are deep and endless.
