DVD Picture:
Once again, Warner has released a very nicely rendered anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD. The picture is smooth and clean, with a generally high average bit rate and little in the way of bothersome pixelization. Sharpness, detail, and definition are very nicely rendered throughout, with excellent shadow delineation and contrast. Colors are rich and warm, with vibrant hues, well-balanced fleshtones, and deep blacks. There is often a stylized warm glow to the picture.
