DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits a beautiful color palette with richly saturated hues, natural fleshtones, and deep blacks. At times, the picture is soft and hazy, providing a mood that is appropriate in creating a nostalgic look for the 1970s setting. Minor flecks of dirt are inherent in the source element. Overall, the picture is quite clean, with little in the way of bothersome pixelization, although some minor edge halos are evident at times. (Suzanne Hodges)
