  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Well, one thing's for certain about "Sabata" (Van Cleef); there's nothing wrong with his aim! With the law on his side and a black hat on his head, the gunslinger is determined to put a stop to an arrogant pompous ass; no matter what kind of scheme he has planned. (Tricia Spears)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD picture has a certain dated appearance, with a slightly soft appearance. Color fidelity is generally well saturated, although fleshtones tend to look brownish. The color scheme is fairly understated and is complementary to the western genre. The source element is revealing of some flecks of dirt, but little film grain. Pixel breakup is occasional, but there is no obtrusive edge enhancement. Overall the picture is quite satisfying for the age of the film and the genre. (Suzanne Hodges)
