DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing image quality, with nicely saturated hues. While sharpness is satisfying, finer details can seem a bit lacking at times. The picture can appear somewhat plugged-up. Still shadow delneation is nicely balanced. The source element is revealing of some film grain. The visual effects are effectively incorporated with the live action. (Suzanne Hodges)
