DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.32:1 DVD picture exhibits mediocre image quality. Colors are poorly saturated, images are fairly soft overall, and edge halos and dirt are apparent. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
With its heavy dose of .1 LFE channel, the Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround encoded soundtrack features much better low end definition than any of the other titles in this collection. Effects sound completely unrealistic, which is generally the norm for Bruce Lee movies, and the mixing of effects in the surround channels make this slightly more enveloping than the original stereo DVD release (although they are used at very low levels relative to the front channels). Dialogue is hazy and blanketed, although presented with slightly more definition than in the other DVDs. The DTS track seems to add slightly better articulation throughout the frequency range, which is welcome. In the end, this is a good release, but not overly exciting. (Danny Richelieu)
