Story Synopsis:

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits very pleasing image quality. The picture exhibits satisfying sharpness and detail, though some scenes appear slightly smeared at times. Still, contrast and shadow delineation are well balanced. Colors are nicely saturated with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. the picture can have a stylized, slightly desaturated appearance that adds a dreary character that is complementary to the storytelling. Some pixelization and minor edge halos are noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
