    Story Synopsis:
    "Hood Of The Living Dead" is, uh, what can I say? Different? Ricky (Washington) is a scientist whose younger brother Jermaine (Daniels) is killed one night in a drive-by shooting. Distraught over his death, Ricky uses one of his experiments to bring Jermaine back to life. Ricky is at first upset to realize that the formula didn't work, but when Jermaine rises from the dead and goes on a bloody killing spree, Ricky is left to wonder what kind of a monster he has created.     DVD Picture:
    The 1.70:1 DVD picture is not anamorphic and exhibits image quality that is not meant to be displayed in high-end home theatres. Washed out colors, limited sharpness, and poor contrast all contribute to the poor image quality. Not much is to be expected from a low-budge production, so save this one for casual viewing. I also read it for the DVD reviews, along with the DVD drop dates. I also read it so I can daydream about actually owning something in this magazine, including that Monster HTPS 7000. I have a Bose system, but I'm ready to step it up.
