The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits imagery of varying quality; typical for documentary features. News footage, black-and-white photos, and interviews can range from poorly saturated and undefined to very natural and nicely detailed. Depending on the source element, there can be inherent video artifacts or film grain. Pixelization is often evident, but there is little in the way of obtrusive edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
