Story Synopsis:
The Grateful Dead Movie?!!? How did I miss this one? Once a dead head, always a dead head, but did I really look like the rest of these funny looking fans? I'm sure I did, but I tell ya, I had just as good a time as they are having. Check out "U.S. Blues" in animation, and how could anyone not love "Sugar Magnolia?" This two-disc DVD is a definite must-have for all you dead heads out there, young and old alike. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD looks expectedly dated. The source element reveals inherent artifacts and dirt. Colors are murky with low contrast, poor saturation, and little delineation. Blacks are often milky and undefined. There is really little about this picture that looks good, and nearly all of the problems are related to the source element. Still, Grateful Dead fans will think this DVD is far out! (Suzanne Hodges)
