Story Synopsis:
A deadly computer virus has invaded a virtual reality fighting game leaving a rebellious teen trapped within. Now the boy's father must enter the tainted program and battle his way through a deadly maze of levels and Martial Arts X-Treme Fighters to save his son before it shuts down and kills them both. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The non-anamorphic 1.82:1 DVD picture exhibits a slightly soft appearance overall. Details are adequate at times, but the picture can look undefined. Colors are generally natural, with satisfying fleshtones and deep, but undefined blacks. A slightly greenish tinge is noticed in the color scheme, appearing especially overblown when greens (like vegetation) are on-screen. Scan lines can be noticed at times. Contrast is occasionally blown-out, but shadow delineation is satisfying. While edge enhancement is not a problem, there is occasional pixel breakup. (Suzanne Hodges)
