DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.82:1 DVD picture exhibits imagery that can be soft, almost creating a fuzzy environment, like a fog of grief felt by the characters. Other times, details and textures are quite satisfying. Colors are nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and generally deep blacks. There is no obtrusive edge enhancement or pixelization that is terribly distracting from the visual experience. (Suzanne Hodges)
