The science-fiction tale is set in Victorian England and features a boy called Ray Steam, who is given a mysterious metal steam ball by his grandfather. Said to contain a form of energy capable of powering an entire nation, Ray uses the ball to fight evil and save London from destruction. (Tricia Spears)
