The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 series exhibits a generally soft, filtered appearance throughout many of the episodes. Details, however, can be satisfying, and contrast and shadow delineation are well balanced. Colors are nicely rendered, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks.
