Special features on disc one includes audio commentary by executive producers J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Bryan Burk for the Pilots-Part 1 and 2, and commentary by executive producer Jack Bender, co-executive producer David Fury and co-star Terry O'Quinn for the "Walkabout" episode. The Lost Scriptscanner allows you to read the entire script for Pilots-Part 1 and 2 while following along with the episode on DVD-ROM, which is available on a PC,and you are given the opportunity to click on any line of dialogue in the script and interact with the scene. Additionally, there are sneak peeks, which are also shown as upfront ads. Disc two offers commentary by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Bryan Burk, with co-star Dominic Monaghan on "The Moth" episode. Disc four offers commentary by executive producer Carlton Cuse, supervising producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach, with co-stars Maggie Grace and Ian Sommerhalder. Disc seven is a supplemental disc only with three featurette headings: "Departure" includes the nine-minute "The Genesis Of Lost," the eight-minute "Designing A Disaster," the 23-minute "Before They Were Lost," (which also includes seven of the actors' Audition Tapes); and the 33-minute "Welcome To Oahu: The Making Of The Pilot," "The Art Of Matthew Fox," is a six-minute storyboard, and "Lost@Comicon" is a two-minute interview/introduction to the film for a studio audience. Under the heading "Tales From The Island" you will find "Lost: On Location," which offers thoughts and explanations on the episodes "The Trouble With Boars," "House Of The Rising Sun," Confidence Man," "All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues," "Whatever The Case May Be," "Hearts And Minds," "Special, and "Exodus." Under the same heading is the seven-minute "On Set With Jimmy Kimmel," and the seven-minute "Backstage With Driveshaft." And finally under "Lost Revealed" you will find two Lost Flashbacks from the season finale: "At The Airport: Claire," and "At The Airport: Sayid," 13 deleted scenes, bloopers, and "Live From The Museum Of Television & Radio," which is an excerpt held at the Directors Guild of America.

Story Synopsis:
A group of passengers find themselves "Lost" after their plane crashes on a deserted island in "Season 1" of the ABC hit series. With no one else to depend on but each other, the different personalities find themselves having to rely on complete strangers to get through the day-to-day uncertanties that life has thrown their way. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVDs can look fantastic, with often sharp and nicely detailed images. Contrast and shadow delineation are presented with excellent balance. Colors are richly saturated and nicely balanced throughout, with lush greens, sunbaked fleshtones, and deep blacks. Unfortunately, there is some minor smearing in some scenes that appears to be related to lower than average variable bit rate in those scenes. Still, other scenes are quite impressive. Overall, the experience is enjoyable enough to engage you in this fantastic television series. (Suzanne Hodges)
