    Story Synopsis:
    Jessica Drummond (Stanwyck), queen of Arizona, rides with a gang of thieves who carry their "Forty Guns" with them at all times. She, herself, carrys only a whip. When Griff Bonnell (Sullivan) arrives in town he's determined to bring peace, but when tragedy hits on his brother's wedding day, Griff is forced to resort to means he has never had to before.
