The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits adequate image quality for the storytelling. The picture can have a soft, somewhat undefined appearance, though details can be satisfying. Colors are well-saturated, if slightly reddish at times, with deep blacks. There is some minor edge enhancement and occasional pixelization noticed.
