DVD Picture:
anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD picture exhibits understated colors that are well balanced and complementary to the setting of the film. Images are nicely sharp and detailed, with well balanced contrast and shadow delineation. Some scenes appear a bit soft or slightly plugged-up, but nothing that is terribly distracting. There is very occasional and minor edge enhancement noticed at times, bit pixelization is rarely noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
