DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced DVD picture exhibits a slightly soft, hazy appearance, although details remain quite satisfying throughout. Sylizations in the color scheme help contribute a cold, dark appearance that is complementary to the storytelling. Hues are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. There are a few occasions in which minor edge enhancement is noticed. Pixelization is also a minor distraction. Still, this dark picture helps deliver all the thrills expected from the genre.
