Story Synopsis:
Looking for something new in his life, Peter Rooker (Thomas) joins a small community theater company. With no experience and little talent, director Edwina (Higgens) sees something special in Peter and offers him the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac. He finds new enthusiasm for life working with Michael (Corbett) and Grace (Smart), who play Christian and Roxanne in the play. But playing a character that is Bigger Than The Sky is going to be difficult for a guy with no "panash." (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
With richly saturated colors that are nicely balanced, the anamorphically enhanced DVD picture exhibits generally pleasing quality. Sharpness is adequate, but fine details are often lacking. The picture can have a smeared appearance. The darker scenes do deliver capable shadow delineation when viewed in a completely blackened room. Edge enhancement is capable of distracting finicky viewers, and there is some pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
