DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.30:1DVD exhibits a dated appearance, with variable flickering brightness and contrast. Color fidelity can be quite satisfying, with natural blue skies, bright white snow, and generally deep blacks. Other times, hues seem a bit dark. The shaky camerawork and flickering brightness can be bothersome in a completely blackened environment. There is some film grain and dirt noticed in the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
