  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Distressed beyond belief after his father unexpectedly dies, Scott Doherty (Garcia) is most upset to learn that his mother Maureen (Bisset) has moved on so quickly. Barely before the body is cold, Maureen is engaged to Oliver Vance (Wilson), a widow she met on a cruise. Enter Kelly (Evans), Oliver's attractive young daughter, who, while more supportive of the engagement than Scott, finds it and the deaths of their parents suspicious. But as these two work together to discover what is really going on with Oliver and Maureen, they develop a "Fascination" for each other and find themselves involved in a love affair of their own. Basesd on a screenplay by Daryl Haney and John Jacobs. (Tricia Spears)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.32:1 DVD exhibits a nice looking picture, with colors that are well saturated with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures. Sometimes the picture has a slightly soft appearance, and is often quite dark; but shadow delineation and contrast can exhibit good balance. Minor flecks of dirt are occasionally noticed in the source element. Edge enhancement is occasional, as is minor pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
