DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits very pleasing image quality, with an excellent color palette. Hues are naturally balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. The picture is sharp and nicely detailed, with satisfying clothing and facial textures. There are a few flecks of dirt that occasionally pop up on the screen. The biggest distraction with this picture is the presence of edge enhancement, which is mostly noticed in higher contrast scenes. Pixelization is rarely detected. (Suzanne Hodges)
