Story Synopsis:
Any "Star Wars" fan will surely love the animated "Clone Wars - Volume 1." Taking place between Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones and the not-yet-released Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith (which opens May 19, 2005), the Clone Wars continue with the Jedi Knights and the soldiers of the Republic's army battling it out against the Separatists, who are led by the evil Sith Lord. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced animated 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits excellent image quality, with solid colors that pop from the screen with rich saturation. The animation is sharp and flat, with a more classic style of dimension (like limited gradations, depths-of-field, and shading). There are some halos noticed around edges, but otherwise the picture looks fantastic. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
