DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits sharp and detailed images that can have a slightly veiled appearance that is complementary to the story, creating a visually nostalgic appearance. The darker scenes exhibit good shadow delineation. Color fidelity is nicely rendered, with fleshtones that are well balanced and blacks that are deep and solid. The picture is quite smooth with little edge enhancement to distract, though there is some minor pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
