Story Synopsis:
When Ji-won, an investigative reporter, begins receiving unsettling phone calls and threats following her article about underage sex scandals, she decides to hide out for a while and let the whole thing blow over. But when she changes her cell "Phone" number, terrible things begin to happen...especially after her friend's young daughter answers a call. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits satisfying visuals throughout, with a well-balanced color scheme featuring accurate fleshtones and generally deep blacks. While the picture can have a soft quality, details can be nicely rendered. Some of the darker scenes appear a bit milky and lacking true, deep blacks. There is a bit of pixel breakup noticed, but there is no distracting edge enhancement for a pleasing (and frightening) experience. (Suzanne Hodges)
