With the only family support coming from his brother-in-law Carlos (Bratt), Walter moves into an apartment and gets a job. He begins a relationship with co-worker Vicki (Sedgwick) but still has a hard time fitting into society. Not only does Walter have his own inner demons to contend with, but Sergeant Lucas (Def) is watching his every move, and nosy receptionist Mary-Kay (Eve) is determined to discover his secret. "The Woodsman" is based on the play by Steven Fechter. (Tricia Littrell)
