DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a bright and colorful picture that is perfectly suitable for the genre. Colors are richly saturated with, at times, a hint of oversaturation in occasionally ruddy fleshtones. Sharpness is mostly adequate, at times appearing soft or somewhat smeared. Still, details can be nicely rendered, and contrast and shadow delineation exhibit natural balance. There is some minor edge enhancement and apparent pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
