Story Synopsis:
Against the wishes of his wife and kids, Mitch Snider (Reinhold) is determined to have a traditional Holiday Reunion with all the relatives. And it looks like that's what he'll have once he receives an invitation from his long-lost cousin Woodrow (Cranston) in Idaho! However, cousin Woodrow and his family turn out to be nuttier than a holiday fruitcake, and what follows is a full-course meal of nonstop laughs when the neurotic suburbanites clash with the hippie hicks from hell in National Lampoon's most outrageous family misadventure yet! DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is bright and colorful, complementing the lighthearted comedy. Sharpness is adequate, though finer details can be a bit lacking at times. Minor smearing is also detected. There is some film grain inherent in the source element, but no bothersome artifacts. Pixelization and edge enhancement are minor.
