    DVD Picture:
    Exhibiting visually nostalgic appeal, the anamorphically enhanced 1.96:1 DVD picture exhibits a color palette that has a slightly green tinge to it, which seems to be reminiscent to the setting of the story. Images are generally sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures, though some smearing is noticed at times. Contrast seems a bit low, but shadow delineation is acceptable. Flecks of dirt are noticed in the source element. Edge enhancement is present, but there is little in the way of bothersome pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
