DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits sharp and detailed images that are nicely textured to showcase the intricate costumes and draperies that adorn the actors and sets. Colors are nicely balanced with accurate fleshtones (most of which are very pale), good saturation, and deep blacks. There are slight edge halos noticed, and minor pixelization, as some scenes appear slightly crushed. (Suzanne Hodges)
