Story Synopsis:
A group of teenagers living in small-town Oregon find themselves in deep trouble when a Mean prank on the town bully goes terribly awry. Despite their efforts to rectify what happened that afternoon on the Creek, the kids are forced to deal with the unexpected consequences of their actions. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits satisfying image quality, with a slightly soft appearance. Details can be nicely rendered, but there is a plugged-up characteristic. Color fidelity is well balanced, with natural fleshtones and generally deep blacks. Sometimes the picture has an intentional shot-on-video look. The handheld camerawork can be dizzying on larger home theatre displays. Edge enhancement is limited, but there is some pixelization noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
