  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Though the story of King Arthur (Owen) has never been proven, this is a well-written portrayal of the legend of the famous knight. Taking place during the fall of the Roman Empire when the Roman armies were fleeing Britain, Arthur and his men are determined to unite Britain under one army and one king. (Tricia Littrell)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture has a visually complementary appearance for the misty locations of 15th century England. Lots of greens and grays are utilized in the color palette, and the picture can be very dark in the fire-lit castle interiors. The snowy scenes are awash in cold blues that add a visual chill to the picture. Sharpness and detail are quite satisfactory, with nicely rendered textures in some scenes, though other scenes appear somewhat
