Story Synopsis:
The first documentary ever to debut at the top of the theatrical charts with a $24 million opening weekend gross, Fahrenheit 9/11 is Michael Moore's contribution to how the country and President Bush reacted after the tragic events that occurred on 9/11/01. With plenty of detailed footage inspiring one to consider just what Mr. Bush was thinking and doing, it's obvious what position Moore takes on the subject. Even moore controversial than Bowling For Columbine, the film is certain to spark heated debates amongst opposing political parties. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
Sourced from various film formats, this anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits image quality typical of documentary features. Colors can vary from downright weak to nicely saturated. The picture can be sharp at times, but can also have segments that are poorly delineated and smeared. Artifacts like film grain, dirt, and scratches, as well as video noise and shimmering details are also apparent, depending on the source. A little bit of pixelization can be noticed at times, and some edge halos are also occasionally evident. (Suzanne Hodges)
