Story Synopsis:
When we last left The "Thunderbirds," the Tracy family were puppets, weren't they? Now, here they are in human form ready to take on the world and all of its dastardly derelicts. With Jeff Tracy (Paxton) and his four older sons busy elsewhere, it's up to youngest boy Alan (Brady Corbet) to save the day when master mind and arch enemy "The Hood" (Kingsley) threatens to take over. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits a bright, coloful image that is certain to keep kids visually attracted. While hues may appear a bit over-the-top, reds and blues pop from the screen with rich saturation. Contrast and shadow delineation are well balanced. Some scenes are awash in yellows or blues, that give the picture an unnatural appearance, but considering the subject matter is far from anything realistic, the look is acceptable! Pixeliztion is noticed at times, but edge enhancement is rarely a problem. The visuals are absutely suitable for the storytelling. (Suzanne Hodges)
