  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Mary (Malone) is a good girl about to enter her senior year at American Eagle Christian High School. She has been Saved! by Jesus and is sure that he will help her through any predicament. When her boyfriend Patrick (Fugit) thinks that he might be gay, Mary decides to prove to him that he's wrong and she turns up pregnant. Thinking that she can depend on her pal Hilary (Moore) for support, Mary learns a quick lesson in friendship when Hilary turns against her. But as an outcast she becomes friends with Jewish student Cassandra (Amurri) and wheelchair-bound Roland (Culkin) and discovers for the first time in her life what a true friend really is. (Tricia Littrell)

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is bright and colorful, with well balanced fleshtones, vibrant hues, and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with satisfying contrast and shadow delineation. Unfortunately, edge enhancement can be a problem with this title. Otherwise, the picture is quite smooth with little in the way of pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
