Story Synopsis:
DC 9/11: Time Of Crisis tells a story of bravery based on the real accounts of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in 2001. Timothy Bottoms stars as President George W. Bush, who works to rally a weakened nation during a time of chaos. The film recounts the events from September 11th to Bush's national address on September 20th. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The 1.78:1 DVD picture is not anamorphically enhanced, but exhibits image quality that is suitable for the subject matter. Images are generally sharp and detailed, with adequate textures and definition. Colors are often well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. At times, the picture can seem a bit lacking in contrast. Edge enhancement and pixelization are noticed on occasion. Stock news footage from the real events are incorporated into the movie (and, expectedly, image quality can vary with those segments). (Suzanne Hodges)
