On Disc One of this two-disc Special Edition you can find the audio commentary to the film with director/writer Frank Darabont and the original theatrical trailer. Also on the first disc are the DVD-ROM special features created for this release. Disc two holds a feature titled Hope Springs Eternal: A Look Back At The Shawshank Redemption, a 31-minute collection of interviews and behind-the-scenes clips outlining the creative process behind the film. Disc Two adds a 50-minute British documentary on the huge popularity of the film titled Shawshank: The Redeeming Feature; an episode of The Charlie Rose Show featuring Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman and Frank Darabont, which lasts 42 minutes; and The Sharktank Redemption, a 20-minute spoof of the film exchanging life in prison with life in an office. Also on Disc Two are production stills, storyboards, and pictures of artwork illustrated by Drew Struzan, the man who painted the new cover for this release.
