    Story Synopsis:
    Inside a small floating Buddhist monastery lives a monk and a young child, a prot

    DVD Picture:
    The engulfing visuals of this 1.85:1 DVD are presented with images that are satisfyingly sharp and detailed. Colors are nicely balanced and natural, with lush greens, accurate fleshtones, and generally deep blacks. Unfortunately, the picture is often plagued by edge enhancement, which is likely to distract most viewers. There are also some shimmering artifacts and occasional pixelization to detract from an otherwise lovely picture. (Suzanne Hodges)
