    Story Synopsis:
    They came in with guns blazing and took away everything he loved, and now all Frank Castle (Jane) wants in return is revenge. After miraculously surviving a trip to his own early grave, Frank goes after Howard Saint (Travolta), the man responsible for his family's murders, and transforms himself into The Punisher, a killer with a vengeance that won't be stopped.     DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits images that are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures. Still, some scenes appear somewhat smeared. Colors are richly saturated and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Many scenes are quite dark and require a completely blackened room for optimal visual information. The source element is revealing of occasional artifacts. Some edge enhancement and pixelization are also present, but nothing that is terribly distracting. (Suzanne Hodges)

    I primarily read WSR for unbiased information concerning the future of HD DVD. Articles are written in such a way that the average consumer can understand the technology and benefits of HD DVD. It's nice to be able to read articles from purist videophiles/audiophiles who clearly state their opinion on technologies/products with clear, understandable supporting information. When I read WSR, I have no doubt that the information within is complete and accurate. It's a publication I can TRUST!
