    Story Synopsis:
    In a distant far off time and place the land of Axis, a giant tree is in danger of losing its sap and drying up. The inhabitants of the large limbs pray to their gods to save their planet from withering away, but with no relief in sight, a defiant teenager Kaena: The Prophecy decides to take matters into her own hands and go in search of help of another kind.     DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a fascinating computer animated picture drenched in a warm golden color palette, featuring deep browns and brownish blacks. Textures and definition are superb, and the picture has an incredible sense of contrast and shadow delineation for further depth. The only complaint about this title is the presence of minor edge halos, and some shimmering artifacts. Still, the picture is incredibly detailed and should certainly satisfy. (Suzanne Hodges)
